A beautiful,
peaceful setting for a wonderful holiday
| High on the cliff
top at the entrance to the giant harbour of Milford Haven, the Old Lighthouse at St Ann's
Head occupies one of the most stunning locations of the entire Pembrokeshire Coast
National Park. Skillfully converted into a high quality holiday
apartment, the former
coastguard buildings at the foot of the 17th century lighthouse tower make an exciting and
different base from which to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Steeped in
History
There has been a
"lighthouse" at St Anns since well before the time of Elizabeth 1,
probably a chapel with a coal-fired brazier attended by a monk or hermit. Over the years,
a series of lighthouses have been built, powered first by coal, then oil, and finally
electricity "leading lights" at the harbour mouth for all manner
of shipping, from fishing trawlers to coastal traders and giant super tankers
from all
corners of the globe.
